Telepresence Performance2011
A telepresence dance and media performance staged simultaneously in Oslo, Norway and Berkeley.
John Crawford created a live video mix that was projected simultaneously in both sites, combined with original choreography by Lisa Wymore and sound score by Ryan Ross Smith. The live dance at both locations was captured with multiple live cameras and processed with the Active Space intermedia performance system to create a multi-layered scenic environment connecting the two sites in real time. Commissioned by the Art.on.Wires Media Festival.
