A public art project for a Lunar New Year celebration at UC Irvine, in which video clips of dancers in the streets and hutongs of Beijing were processed to resemble moving paintings.
Selected live shots from the UCI event were layered with the prerecorded video and presented as a live mix on a large screen in a public space. Passers-by saw themselves incorporated into the moving paintings with the Beijing dancers.
