Urban Fabric: Prague

An interactive dance and media performance featured as the keynote opening event in the International Biennale of Contemporary Art in Prague, Czech Republic, commissioned by the National Gallery of Prague.
Dancers were accompanied by an interactive soundscape and projected visuals using the Active Space intermedia performance system to process a live onstage camera feed combined with dance footage and an architectural rendering of text fragments from the Invisible Cities of Italo Calvino. Urban Fabric: Prague is one in a series of interactive dance/media works staged in Europe, China and California.
